The USDA’s SNAP Employment and Training Toolkit, released in 2013, was created to guide states in developing Employment and Training (E&T) programs based on the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008. The guide includes SNAP and Food and Nutrition Act guidelines, as well as resources that aim to help States meet the employment and training needs of low income households.
The guide includes SNAP work requirements, the basics of E&T funding, the essentials of an E&T program, state-specific information and further resources.
