This February 2013 policy memo from MDRC briefly reviews some well-known national programs that have successfully addressed youth that are not engaged in education or employment. It also provides a few policy suggestions which include preventing youth from dropping out, continuing funding for initiatives to study and improve existing programs, and integrate funding streams with regular K-12 funding.
